We are going to install this on a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan. We will go ahead and show you where the hitch mounts up onto the vehicle and give you an idea of what is going on. The hitch bolts up onto the frame right here: these one, two, three points. And the hitch is going to use the existing hardware, too. On the other side it is a little more different. We have got to take down the exhaust to give us some working room, get those bolts out, and then slide the hitch in there, of course. One thing to know is, when you undo these bolts for the bumper brackets it will tilt up. If you are careful enough, they will stay in place, but they will just tilt up. So it is a good idea to do the rearmost bolts first, to get the hitch installed, and then snug them down where it brings the rest of the bracket inside the frame down level so you can actually thread the rest of the bolts in. OK, when you get the hitch into position, like I said, with just the two rear bolts, make sure you move the hitch around so it clears the AC lines that are underneath here. OK, starting from the rear to the front, tighten this one down that brings the bracket a little bit closer, where you can start getting the threads on this one, which brings it down even more.
